Not all guys are jerks. There are guys who do really care about what girls think and respect their opinions, but on the flip side there are a lot of guys that really don't care.
To be frank these guys are really only seeing the girl(s) as something they want, not as a person. These guys will end up hurting the girl and then after awhile guys reputations perceive them.

Generalizing all guys as jerks is not fair or accurate. It's important to remember that individuals are unique and behavior is not determined by gender. It's better to focus on identifying and interacting with people who treat you with kindness and respect.
