Smoking can give you lung cancer. Even though other kids are doing it, that doesn't make it alright to do also.
Smoking should be banned to protect public health by reducing exposure to harmful secondhand smoke, decreasing the rate of smoking-related diseases and healthcare costs, and promoting a healthy environment free from tobacco litter and pollution.

I am strongly against the banning of smoking. I believe that Ye who wants to smoke can smoke anywhere they please. Although smoking is extremely dangerous to health and can often lead to disease or death, cigarette is an extremely large company that the world needs to depend on. So on the economic standpoint, no, it should not be outlawed.
Smoking is already discouraged in many countries and areas, and is also illegal in others (for example, those who are based in Islam now prohibit smoking on the grounds it causes harm, which is against the Q'uran's guidance). However banning it immediately in some others would lead to a similar situation as prohibition did.
