The Revelation Model 206 lever action rifle was manufactured in the 1960s and 1970s. It was produced by the Western Field brand, which was a store brand for Montgomery Ward. The rifle is known for its solid construction and was available in various calibers, primarily .30-30 Winchester. Production ceased in the late 1970s as the market for lever action rifles changed.
Marlin; depends on the barrel and loads
I have a Revelation 2500D and it is very clearly a Savage manufactured rifle. Identical to Savages of same period except for the rollmark.
My father-in-law just gave me his and I've been trying to find info on them. I found one on a gun auction site that went for $190 with a Bushnell scope. It is the same as a Mossberg 810AH, branded for Western Auto Supply.
It is a Mossberg Mdl 353, made for Western Auto Stores, and marked with their Revelation brand.
Please check your model number and repost. That is not listed as a Revelation rifle model, but it IS the model number of a 4 power telescope sold by Western Auto.
Depends on the model number. Many different companies made rifles for Western Auto marking them with Western Auto's private brand. This also applied to Sears (J C Higgins) and Montgomery Ward (Westernfield)
