This Walther knockoff handgun is stamped on the left side just above the trigger guard "FEG Hungary". Presumably made in Hungary by Fegyver És Gépgyár.
It is 7.65 mm (.32 ACP) has an eight round magazine (normally comes with two), is built on an aluminum frame and has black plastic hand grips. It is dbl or single action and the safety lever acts as a de-cocking mechanism.
It is capable of very good accuracy for this type of handgun. It is small and very concealable. In the mid 80's wholesalers were pricing them at about $50.00 and retailers at about $75 to $100.
Plant City, Florida is the location of the importer. I believe you have a Carpati Md. 74. It very closely resembles the Walther PPK, and was manufactured by Uzina Mecanica Cugir SA in Romania.
