I really don't think this is needed but just in case... Spoiler Alert!
In book 6, A Lick of Frost, on page 229 Doyle tells Meredith that he along with Frost, Rhys, Galen, Sholto and Mistral will be fathers to her twins. Three fathers each as in the legend of Clothra.
Merry Gentry is impregnated by several of the male characters in the series, including the main love interests: Doyle, Frost, and Galen. Each of them plays a role in advancing the story and contributing to the mystical world that Merry inhabits.
The book series you are referring to is likely "The Merry Gentry" series by Laurell K. Hamilton. This series focuses on fairies and has an adult-oriented theme. Laurell K. Hamilton is also known for her "Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter" series, which deals with vampires.
"Guilty Pleasures" was written by Laurell K. Hamilton. It is the first book in the Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter series.
Laurell K. Hamilton is working on DIVINE MISDEMEANORS right now. Which is a Merry Gentry novel. It is supposed to be released in December. Then she is working on a novella for Anita Blake called FLIRT (it will be short like MICAH). They hope it will be released in February of 2009, then she hopes to have a full Anita novel to come out in June of 2009, but she hasn't mentioned a title to that one yet.
Anita Blake is famous for playing the title character in Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter series by Laurell K. Hamilton. Laurell had the idea for the series from gender inequality in detective fiction. Anita Blake's character consists of re-animating the dead and hunting vampires who haven't followed the law.
Ooooh. Where do I start? I'll just give you authors. -Laurell K. Hamilton -Gerry Bartlett -Christine Feehan -Gena Showalter -Sherrilyn Kenyon -Sterphanie Meyer ... There are so many. I highly recommend Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series. It's very graphic; blood, course language, sexuality, etc. But it is one of my favorite series. Gerry Bartlett's Real Vampire series is a comical romance series. Good for laughs.
The release date for book 20 of Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake series has not been announced yet. It is best to follow the author's website or social media accounts for updates on the release schedule.
Laurell K. Hamilton created the character of Anita Blake, who is a private detective and a vampire hunter in her "Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter" series.
Ohhh...there's tonnes. My favorite series right now is Charlaine Harris' Southern Vampire series, the first book is Dead Until Dark. JR Ward Laurell K Hamilton Mary Janice Davidson (Undead and Unwed, very fun, a shopaholic type book with vampires.) Also the Imortals series by Alyson Noel is very good.
Other books similar to the Sookie Stackhouse series include the Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs, the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton, and the Southern Vampire Mysteries series by Faith Hunter. These series all feature strong female protagonists in a supernatural world filled with vampires, werewolves, and other creatures.
Not yet.
Laurell K.Hamilton has released 20 books so far in the Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter series and is due to release her 21st in June. I don't know if this is the most but it's certainly the largest series I know of.
Yes, there will be a 9th book in the series, though there is no set release date yet.
