In the grand scheme of things these piercings both hurt the same ( I can't understand this "does it hurt" question, poking a hole in the human body always hurts regardless of where it is or what it is). These piercings are all deeper cartilage piercings which make them more difficult for the piercer to get at, meaning they are fussy cramp quarter piercings and thus a little more discomfort for the client but not so much more painful than any other piercing. Be sure you find and experienced professional body piercer (better than 3 years of experience actually piercing professionally),( who has a portfolio to show you of piercings "they actually have done" ). Make sure the aftercare makes sense to you, you shouldn't be forced to purchase aftercare products (this is a BS cash grab by many new studios). Do your research just like you are doing right now, interview your piercer and ask them about aftercare, healing times and what to do if you have issues BEFORE you get the piercing done. It has to make sense to you, if it does and you feel good about you choice then fly at it and have fun.
