Now days all you need is a computer, tablet or mobile phone and a fast internet connection. You then join a video conferencing company that handles all your conferences on a secure server. The one I use is called iwowwe and only cost

under $200. I can have up to 12 on cam at one time and over 1000 people on mic.

They proved you with all the software you need, so you dont need to go and buy any fancy equipment.
