Throughout history slave were assigned all kinds of labor. They worked farms, in the fields, with animals, they cooked, cleaned, were blacksmiths, servants, drivers, warriors, bred children. They worked alongside other slaves, with paid workers or together with their owners. They were property and did whatever their owners told them do do.
