That is an excellent question my friend. You see back in 1869, British explorer Samuel White Baker travelled to Africa in search of the rumored platypus. According to his account of that expedition, he was the man whom in fact can be credited with the Troll Face. See while he was trekking through the African terrain he would find himself succumbing to fatigue. Each night a creature emerged from whatever wild shrubbery there was around and steal his items. Eventually he used is trusty rifle to graphically massacre the troll, and since that day the troll face has been associated with trickery, pranks and deceit.
