Recommend you see a gunsmith.
If your Ranger is a bolt action .22, it is likely a Marlin Model 80 made for Sears.
We have a Ranger bolt action rifle with a model # 103-8. We do not know the age of our gun however.
If your gun is a Marlin bolt action, with the Sears brand name "Ranger" on it, and model 34, then you have a model 65 Marlin! The model 65 is an easy gun to determine age, as they were only made from 1935-37. Your's is one of those two years! Vall

I don't know the value of your .22 Ranger bolt action, but it was made by Marlin for and sold by Ranger. It is the same as the Marlin model 80.All parts will fit
50-100
The Word ranger was used by Winchester to denote a economy version of there regular rifles and shotguns. The model 670 was a economy version of the famous model 70 bolt action rifle.Winchester also made a ranger model 94 rifle, and various ranger model shotguns during their many years of being in business.
No browning did not,but winchester made a ranger model pump action shotgun.
The Ranger 36 cross-references to a Marlin 80 with an adjustable trigger. This model was manufactured from 1935 to 1939.
All I can say is look in gunshops, at gunshows, and online sources like gunbroker.com and gunsamerica.com. If you can't find the Ranger, look for a Marlin Model 100 as it should be the same gun with a different name stamped on it. I have a Ranger Model 103-8 22 caliber single shot bolt action rifle that I need a firing pin and firing pin front and rear springs. I ordered a pin from Numrich gun parts and the pin I got didn't fit. I was told that it was the same pin that is used in the Marlin 100 rifle, but that is not the case. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
