Remove the butt plate and you'll see a hole. Down the hole is a nut on a threaded rod, holding the butt onto the gun. Remove the nut = remove the stock.
The butt plate on a 1951 Winchester Model 94 was typically made of metal. You may be able to find a replacement butt plate by searching online gun parts retailers, auction sites, or contacting gunsmiths who specialize in vintage firearms.
Gun Parts Corp has correct Higgins buttplates, but they would have to be fitted to the stock.
What are the markings on the gun? sales@countrygunsmith.net
Most likely it is a Powhatan, a "House Brand" that was actually made by Crescent Arms Co. in Richmond Va. Though the plate could have been put on it from another gun, many used whatever plate would fit when theirs broke, and this plate was not too uncommon back in those days. You should be able to find the company name imprinted on it somewhere on the barrel of your particular gun.
