You can get Norethisterone pills from your doctor. Your doctor will be able to give you however many you need, then get them from your pharmacy with the prescription.

Is it safe to take Micronor tablets for contraception as well as norethisterone tablets to postpone your period or will you overdose on norethisterone and what would the effects be?

Birth control pills can stop your period without taking another medication. Instead of taking your sugar pills you skip this and start the next pack which will prevent your period from starting but you may experience some spotting. Personally I wouldn't be happy about taking two different medications which deal with your reproductive area. Speak to your doctor.

How long after stopping norethisterone will your period come?

It can be anything from 2 to 5 days in my experience, but if you've not had your period then, do a pregnancy test and see your Doctor. I my case, I wasn't pregnant, but is was an existing condition (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) that the Norethisterone wasn't able to "override".

Can norethisterone make your period come?

No, not quite.Norethisterone is a progesterone pill, most commonly it's used to delay menstruation by preventing the progesterone drop that would normally trigger menstruation. Once you stop taking the pills the drop in progesterone triggers menstruation. If used when not due to menstruate the progesterone drop may trigger a withdrawal bleed (not menstruation) similar to what a person would experience on the combination pill when going from active to placebo pills.
