No, there is no serial specific records other then when it's made and you can get that from the date code stamped on the barrel, see related links.

We don't need a serial number, but a model number would help. Remington has made .22 rifles for a long time now. The age can be determined by a 2 or 3 letter code on the barrel, left side, just in front of the receiver. See link below to date chart:

I'm guessing your talking about a Remington model 12-CS pump?If so it was made in early 1915.
This is a model 14 1/2 and is 44-40 WCF, there were made from 1914-1931, Serial number 46147 was made very late in 1915.
Remington Model 550-1 does not have serial numbers.
The G prefix to your serial number shows that it is a model 70 Winchester rifle.It should say this on the barrel of your rifle.
