First it is Beretta, second, it is a magazine, not a clip. There are several different 9mm models made by Beretta- it will use the magazine made for that model.
Unfortunately, we have no idea what rifle you have. Gardone Val Trompia is a town in Italy. It is not a make/ model of a gun. It is possible that you have a 6.5mm Carcano rifle made by Beretta, but without seeing it or knowing the markings, that cannot be determined. As a military rifle, there is no "owner's manual". However, there is information on loading and firing the 6.5 Carcano available. To use as a repeating rifle, there is a stripper clip that must be used to hold the cartridges.

The Beretta 38 was the main sub-machine gun of the Italian army. It was unique in that it had a large wooden stock very much like a standard carbine rifle. The barrel was a large round barrel that was vented for cooling. It had a clip under the stock. The Model 38/42 featured a shortened barrel and two triggers, one for single fire and the other for automatic fire.
Clip is a noun (a clip) and a verb (to clip).
