Try using a little BoPeep knot.
$200 to $800 depending on condition. I am looking for one that is in excellent condition, but will pass if the rifle has been drilled for a scope or peep sight. It seems that this was a common alteration and finding unmolested examples is difficult.
Most came with a tooth ramped iron sight. But there could be different styles depending on the age of your Winchester model 1894 rifle, such as a peep sight,a full buckhorn sight, etc.
the 510p came with an adjustable peep sight. my mother had one when she was a kid in the late 1930's. The fit and finish is incredible for what was probably a 15 dollar hardware store .22. I have a weaver scope on it now and it still shoots great!............

The "P" designates peep rear sight & ramp front sight, not sure of the "G" designation.
line up the target on the top of the front sight while sighting the front sight through the rear peep sight.

Depending on condition, $200-$250. If it does NOT have the original peep sight and hooded front sight, value goes WAY down. sales@countrygunsmith.net
The specific type & manufacturer of the peep sight is needed to properly answer this question.
