Most any true 'gun store' can assist you in the purchase of a Desert Eagle handgun. If they do not stock the design, they can order one directly from suppliers who deal with Magnum Research Inc.
Needing to ask this questions suggests you know little about firearms. You should know what you are buying.
The Desert Eagle is an oddity among handguns being a gas-operated design. For the end-user this means keeping the gun functioning properly will require more care and maintenance (in the form of cleaning on your part) versus other handguns.
The Desert Eagle is chambered in .357 Magnum, .44 Magnum, and .50 Action Express calibers. These are powerful, sharp-recoiling cartirdges which are not suited to someone who has little to no experience with firearms, especially handguns of abnormally large levels of power. Many used Desert Eagles can be found in gun stores because they were purchased by someone who did not understand this, and later returned the gun when they learned they were incapable of handling it. It is nothing like its portrayal in the movies.
Desert Eagle. Desert Eagle. Desert Eagle. Desert Eagle. Desert Eagle.

The Desert Eagle was made in the US and Israel.
As said below, the Desert Eagle is not a revolver. It is also not cheap, nor in my opinion an especially impressive handgun except to those that fell in love with video games, and do not shoot real firearms.
It depends on the laws in your country. In the US, you can. The Desert Eagle is strictly a civilian market pistol, anyhow, with no practicality for law enforcement or military usage and since the American law does not count against high caliber bullets that a Desert Eagle can use (.357, .44, or .50 usually).
Desert Eagle specifically, no. The Jericho - also commonly called the "Baby Eagle" - is something of a scaled-down version of the Desert Eagle, and that is available in 9mm.
Matter of taste- no way for us to answer,
