My personal favorite is small repair shops. you can do a local search via internet or the old fashioned yellow pages. my second sugestion is take it to the Geek Squad at Best Buy. They are very smart and fast. and my advice, unless you know what you are doing DONT do it yourself"
You can either get someone to fix it, or take it to your local dump and see if they can recycle it or "throw it away", aka export it to Another Country where it will be dumped. (E-Waste)
