Im guessing you dont live in California... In West Hollywood (Los Angeles area) we have dispensaries EVERYWHERE! It is fairly easy to find a doctor who will analyze you and decide if you are able to get a medical marijuana license. I have one for my anxiety and ADHD and it has honestly really helped me!!! If you DO live in CA, you need a CA ID and must see a doctor before going into a dispensary.

You generally have to have a medical marijuana card that is valid in the state you want to work in and have general knowledge of marijuana strains and related products. I would find the nearest one to you and ask them.
In most states, Marijuana is legalized through medical use. Doctors and prescribe marijuana, but cannot give it to them. Until recently doctors recommended (California, for example) that they find a safe way of getting it. Now in California they have privately owned stores that will sell all types of marijuana to people who possess a medical marijuana license. Massachusettes will be voting to be the first state to fully legalize and sell marijuana to residents of Massachusettes, by the government.

Republicans are against all marijuana. They believe that medical marijuana will lead to recreational marijuana, and that people who just want to smoke weed will claim they have diseases they really don't or they'll find doctors who will write prescriptions for anyone to get medical marijuana cards. There's some truth to that: the California statute is the one they most usually attack. It's written in such a way, with so many diseases listed as qualifying, that just about anyone who wants a pot card can get one.
Marijuana is illegal for both medical and recreational use in Indiana. Possession of any amount of marijuana is considered a misdemeanor, with penalties varying based on the amount. Indiana does not have any current legislation allowing for the medical use of marijuana.
