Baker was one of the 6 major shotgun makers in the early 1900s- values will depend on the exact model and condition- and there were multiple models. 28 g guns frequently command a higher price due to rarity. While I would love to give you a value, any estimate would be a range of $100-$1000 or more. This will need a hands on appraisal- sorry. PS- Be certain that your shotgun is a Baker and not a Barker. Barker was a low cost Belgian made import sold by Sears in the late 1800s/ early 1900s. capitalizing on the names Baker and Parker- both well respected gun companies.
Unfortunately, W. Richard was a low quality shotgun that attempted to cash in on the very fine quality Westley Richards guns. No connection between the two. Made early 1900s. sold by Sears.
EASTERN ARMS CO was a tradename most often associated with the Sears, Roebuck& Co company in the very early 1900s. The double barrel shotguns were typically Belgian and sold as the low-price line, and the single-barrel guns were typically made by contractors such as Iver Johnson. Value is going to be under $100.
$100 - $200. Belgium produced many, many cheap shotguns in the late 1800s and early 1900s for export, and also some very fine guns. However the vast majority were what are referred to as hardware store guns, i.e. they were sold in hardware stores, general stores etc for a few dollars. Most of these are best used as wall hangers, just hang it over the fireplace and look at it.
"Store brand" guns usually don't have much value. Maybe 100 USD.
Many "Richards" branded shotguns in the late 1800s and early 1900s imported to U.S. from Europe. Some high value Westley Richards guns were made in England, other rather valueless English and Belgian guns came over also. Be careful not to shoot these without inspection by a gunsmith.
no i think the 2oth century is the 1900s?
