You don't need to purchase origami paper. Just get some regular paper (whatever color you like). Lie it down so that it is vertical. Then, get the lower right hand corner and drag it up to the left until the edges of the paper are perfectly met. Once the paper is in that position, you'll see (obviously) that there is leftover paper upward. So get some scissors and cut that part off. After you do that, you've got origami paper!

A lot of times specialty stores, hobby shops, or craft stores will have that kind of thing. If you cannot find anything, you can always use nice Scrapbooking paper with a cute design as a substitute. Normally it is firm enough to keep shape and not rip but still is able to be folded and shaped. :)
Many different types of specialty paper, made specifically for origami, can be purchased at your local craft store or even some office supply stores. Amazon also carries a wide variety of origami paper. Origami paper comes in varieties such as dual colored, different textures, patterns, and even metallics and foils.
well you can find it at the vernis hills mall
It's generally available at craft stores, like Michael's, and sometimes in Japanese food stores near the register.
You can purchase origami decorations often from craft stores. Art classes at your local schools will also often make this type of decoration, and have them for sale as a fund raiser.
