you can use conditioner for oily hair...but only an extremely small amount. the conditioner will make your hair even more oily than it was before. i do not recommend using it on oily hair.
It is only oily if you dont wash it for a while.
Avoid harsh shampoo because they will only cause the oil glands to produce more sebum than necessary. Rinse the oily hair with lukewarm water rather than hot water. Rosemary is also very effective for the oily scalp. It is considered as natural cleanser for the scalp and a stimulator of the roots.
I also have oily hair... Use a deep cleansing shampoo and a small amount of strengthening conditioner only on the endswhere its dry! Dont use on the roots! If you tend to wash your hair every day like I do... sometimes in between I comb baby powder through the roots to get rid of the oily look.
Shampoo cleans your hair.........The ONLY way to get your hair shorter is to CUT it.
Natural oils in your hair. If you use conditioner, try only putting in on the ends and not on the roots of your hair. If that doesn't work, try getting a special shampoo and conditioner made to reduce how oily your scalp is.
I saw a TV show that had people tray to guess which was the designer shampoo and which was the dog shampoo and every one thought the dog shampoo was better than the human shampoo. So I tried some, it only cost $1 and my coat was shinny and manageable. Recently I got Hearts shampoo for oily skin, thinking that oily skin meant oily hair. The shampoo leaves my hair soft and not dry, perhaps too soft, but it works well. I have even gotten complements on my hair from people thing I have gotten a hair cut.
Shampoo is a form of soap and as such, helps to dissolve oily or greasy materials. Water can then wash away the dissolved material, along with pretty much any other form of dirt in your hair.shampoo is a chemical that is attracted to grease and oil, when you shampoo your hair the shampoo is attracted to the grease, as you stimulate your scalp you activate your sweat glands and this removes the grease/oil from your hair during the reaction between the shampoo and water. however if you over activate your sweat gland this reaction can cause your hair to become more greasy/oily... not only does this remove grease and oil it removes other substances and dirt by using different shampoos and conditioners.
yes you can. because its just getting all the oils out of your hair from the conditioner. but it makes it hard to brush through sometimes, so you might have to use some spray conditioner, which is only like 3 dollars. (: hope this helpss(: Clarification by Drbits: Shampoo gets your hair and scalp clean. Many shampoos also contain chemicals that stick to the hair and make it more manageable (shampoo + conditioner in one). For many people (especially those with permanents or hair dye), separate shampoo and conditioner is better. If you are using a conditioner, shampooing afterwards defeats the purpose of the conditioner. If your conditioner leaves your hair feeling oily or dirty, it is the wrong conditioner for you - you could try a conditioner for "oily hair".
If you eat any junk foods, your face will get oily, and oil clogs pores so that's why eating junk food is associated with acne... if you don't wash your hair for 1 or 2 days it'll get oily. Some people's hair just gets oily faster, or more oily depending on the shampoo they use. Sometimes if you put too much conditioner in, your hair will seem really oily. But the only thing I can think of that'll make it really oily ''all of a sudden'' is if you put oil in it yourself. Haha :) But I don't know how long you meant, so I hope I helped :)
