Probably September 2009. That's when Apple releases the new iPods, every year. There are two pieces of information telling us that the new itouch is goonna be released on 9th September The fact that they are having the iTunes festival then and because apple have said "get a free iPod touch ($229) when you buy a mac BEFORE THE 8th OF SEPTEMBER" Showing that they are trying to get rid of the 2nd gen so they can lower its orice and start selling 3rd gens soon after 8th sept most likely at the itunes festival I cant wait getting one the day it comes out IT is rumoured to have a 4 mega pixel camera and video recorder and now an adjustably louder speaker...YAY! Hope this helped-BaXR
NO there is not a 16gb for 4rth.
4th generation
As of now, the 5th Generation iPod Touch only comes in 32GB and 64GB. The 4th Generation, though, does come in a 16GB now.
Apple don't make a 16gb version of the 4th gen, so no-one will have one. You will have to get an 8gb version or a 32gb version.
It is hard to tell, but most likely. Subscribe to the apple RSS feed and check MacRumors out.

No. The iPod touch 5th generation is currently being sold alongside the previous-generation iPod touch 4th generation, which only comes in the 16GB size (of current manufacture) and 32GB. When the 4th generation iPod touch was new, there were also other sizes (8GB and 64GB).
