I believe you are asking about a S&W 80G not 806. If I'm right it is a C02 BB rifle Brown Plastic stock. It has a sliding wedge level. If this is it, then it was made between 1972-80. In Fair to Good condition it is worth between $60-$80 in Excellent condition it is worth around $105 plus or minus.

357CTG means that particular handgun is chambered for the 357 magnum cartridge.
The 29-2 was the variant produced for the most years, from 1961 to 1982. To find what year a particular Model 29 gun was made, it is necessary to telephone Smith and Wesson. (For Remington or Ruger or Winchester, etc, you need only do an internet search for "Winchester serial numbers" for example, and you can quickly find what year a particular gun was made. This works for almost every company except Smith and Wesson.)
There really is no way to know exactly when it was made. Smith and Wesson makes parts in batches and there is no guarantee that a frame made today will be built today. The closest you can come is a date showing when it shipped from the Smith and Wesson wareshouse. This particular serial number was shipped @ 1958.
The Wesson part of Smith and Wesson.
