When was The Lego Group created?

he started out by making step ladders then moved onto wooden toys.

he thought there was future for his buisness.

so.. he improoved his wooden toys and moved onto plastic ones and called his new buisness 'LEGO'.

he made such good buisness that Lego is one of the worlds best selling toys of all time.

and now they got their own theme park!

The Lego Group was founded in a small town called Billund in the middle of Jutland in Denmark. It was founded in 1932 by a capenter named Ole Kirk Christiansen. "Lego" can be interpreted as latin for "I walk". At first they produced wood toys, but investments in new plastics technology caused a switch to plastic toys and eventually the famous bricks. The companys presence encouraged growth in to an average sized town with a themed entertainment park and an airport.
