Toys R Us restock continually through out the year. However, post Christmas they are, like all retailers using up the inventory they have so that they do not carry excessive costly stock levels. Its also a time when suppliers have used the greater percentage of certain high demand stock items with few if any scheduled for production immediately following the Holiday's. Many producers start developing their new versions of games and toys post Christmas ready for the next high sales period so some "must have" lines will not be available to every retailer as new versions are taking the priority
