It is turning upside down getting ready to come out so the head is at the uterus
At the beginning of the third trimester (28 weeks) the baby will probably be lying head up in the womb. Around the 35th week of the pregnancy and onwards, the baby normally turns around so that he is facing head downwards, ready to be born. However, not all babies do this, this is just the 'norm.' Some babies remain head up in the womb, this is called a breech position and can cause complications at the birth. This is one of the most common reasons for an elective caesearian.
basically the baby is first a embryo and then when it comes to the uterus is when the baby starts to grow its ears mouth nose legs feet hands arms head and all the other parts of the body that the baby will have and when it starts to grow the womb starts to get larger so that the baby can fit it the womb
breech. lol. Edit: it does NOT mean breech ! A 'breech' baby is one that's positioned with the head uppermost in the womb !
The term womb drop actually is inaccurate. What actually happens is the baby drops further down in the womb. His head becomes engaged in the pelvis which means his head is pressing against the cervix, or the doctor/midwife will say the head is applied against the cervix. In a first pregnancy this can happen a couple weeks before the baby is due. But it is exciting. it means everything is working and the time is getting close. A woman who has already had a baby, sometimes doesn't "drop" until right around the time she goes into labor, or is in labor.
semen does not cross into the placenta and has no effect on baby in womb.
hysterectomy is removal of womb which is where baby grows. No womb = no baby
baby poop while in the womb can cause infection in the lungs if the baby swallows it
A doctor can only tell you that a baby was/is in the womb for too long.
It is thought that a baby in the womb responds to external sounds and vibrations.
A baby inside the womb is called a fetus.
