No, it is a perfectly normal process for girls and women, mainly girls are worried about it, and they are going through puberty. It's normal, don't worry. It usually means that you're getting ready for your period. It should be white-ish and shouldn't make you itch. I started getting discharge at age 11, and then at age 12 I had my first period. Hope this helps. xx
Girls have a thing called discharge. Discharge is the cream coloured stuff that comes out of the vagina. Most girls find this as they reach puberty, often a year before periods start. Discharge is made up of salt water, minerals and cells from our bodies, girls make nearly half a teaspoon everyday from when girls hit puberty, it is slightly sour. Discharge helps protect the girls bits from infection. When a girls get sexually aroused or turned on their vagina secretes extra moisture which protects and lubricates it during sex. This is different from every day discharge. Normal discharge can be clear, white, cream or yellow. Some girls get it more than others. It can also change during a month. Many girls find it looks a bit like a raw egg white in the first couple of weeks after there period, then it can get more white and gooey towards the end of the month.
