None. Never shoot or point a pellet gun at anyone.
The .22 air rifle has an effective shooting range of about 60 yards. Much beyond that the pellet lacks the velocity to fly level, and lacks the speed to be effective for hunting.
Go to airgunexpo.com, you'll also need a chronographer to find out the speed that the gun is actually shooting, and the weight of the pellet. And conturary to popular belief, a stock Springer air rifle doesn't actually shoot 1000 fps. Get a chronographer and see, you'll need one anyway.
This all depends on the country where you live. Most of Europe and Canada have limits on the speed that a pellet can be fired. Their rifles and guns are made differently. In the USA there is no limit on the speed of the pellet. Pellets fired at 1200 Feet Per Second is not uncommon.

Whatever the posted speed limit is.
Any Speed above 1,125 is considered Supersonic. There are several pellet rifles capable of this speed. As an example the PCP Air rifle, Air Force Condor is capable of firing a .177 pellet at 1,450 FPS.
The speed of an Euoplocephalus tail can reach over 45mph.
