I do know that it was made by Daisy because all the models that start with 799 were made by Daisy airgun company for Sears under the JC Higgins brand name.

All the Daisy models began with 799.xxxxx and all the Crosman models started with 126.xxxxx. I believe #A302688 is a serial number and not a model number. If you can locate either 126. or 799. on the rifle that will give more information as to the identify of who made it. Also please state the current condition of the rifle, is it still working? Is it in Poor, Fair, Good, Very Good or Excellent condition. The current condition determines much of the value. I do not have a listing of every model made for sears (JC HIggins) But I'll help you if I can. Here's an example. 126.19041 is really a Crosman V350 and in good condition is worth around $70 to $85. I would lean toward the $70 because it's a JC Higgins model and not as desirable as a Crosman model. Even though it's was made by Crosman.
