That would PROBABLY be the first rifle to use a smokeless powder cartridge- the French 8mm Lebel.
I say a good rifle would be a bolt action type. Nothing too high powered.
100-1000 USD depending on condition, finish, accessories, etc..
i have a searsman roebuck 22. i would like to know what the value of this rifle is, it was passed down to me. I also have a 7.62 Japanese rifle from the Korean war its authenic from the Japanese empire. i would like to know the the value of it as well.
How old is the rifle, Is it spring powered, or C02 powered or PCP. If you don't know what you are doing you can damage it more. I would look up on the net under "Air Gun repair" and have a professional repair it if it is not under warrenty.
4$
The model 1860 - 1866 CAL Winchester Rifle would be worth alot. It should be worth around 500 to 1000 dollars. This is because it is a unique antique now.
Possible- yes. Likely? No. Most "assault" rifles have a much shorter effective range. Hitting someone at a mile with a relatively low powered rifle would be a matter of chance.
It has been found that a German DSR 50 rifle is a sniper rifle. This is not something that would be readily available to the public, and extensive research has not provided any prices for this rifle. One would likely find the price by inquiring through a rifle association.
100-450 usd
in the states it would probably be worth anywhere from 1-2 thousand dollars
You could use any magnification you wanted- but extremely high powered scopes would be useless- the field of view would be so small, you could not find your target. The largest I use on a varmint rifle is 24X- and I would not use that on a hunting rifle. Military sniper rifles generally use less powerful scopes than that.
