According to the Retro Brick web site, a vintage phone retailer [see article at http://www.retrobrick.com/moto8000.html], the original Motorola DynaTAC 8000Xwas "13 x 1.75 x 3.5 inches in dimension." A blog site called "Cool (Old) Gadgets" [http://pastgadgets.blogspot.com/2007/07/motorola-dynatac-8000x-aka-brick.html] claims that these dimensions do not include the antenna!
