GOOD LUCK!
Um I didn't find anything on the answer already given above but I know that if you use Sansa Media Converter instead of the program you are using now there won't be any problems. Here is the advice I can give you on putting videos onto your Fuze: The easiest way to put videos on the Sansa Fuze is to go on YouTube. Once your on Youtube, search the video you want. Add 'pwn' in front of the web address and click "Download MP4 Version" Once you do this it will ask you what you would like to name it. Name it the videos name because this is what will appear in the menu on your Fuze. Open Sansa Media Converter (available on sansa.com) and add the video by simply dragging it from its current positon (it's current position, after finished downloading, should be either in your desktop or "Your Computer" the "Your Computer" Icon should be in your start menu). Hit the "convert" button and you'll be all set! If you want to download movies you'll have to buy them. Sorry!:'(. Hope this helps! I am going to state the obvious now but remember your Fuze has to be plugged into your computer!

From TheStopher
Not true on the buying the movies part. The Sansa Media Converter works if you feed it avis that are in divx. I use Any Video Converter to convert MP4 to avi. Then I use the avi to divx converter freeware from
http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/freeware/convert/to-divx
to convert to divX. Then the Sansa Media converter will be able convert it for your Fuze. It takes time due to the necessity of converting the same movie multiple times, but it works. Video quality was good as well, although I did start with HD MP4. Sansa Media Converter is a sorry program, but I can't find a way to ready a file for my Fuze other than this. The Fuze plays avis encoded in DIVX 20 FPS. I read that it is supposed to play MP4, but I have found this not to work... I think there is a frame-per-second limit as well as a resolution limit for Fuze player. Also I personally have many HD MP4 files already downoaded. I think I will get a different portable player soonest as this process sucks.
The SanDisk Sansa Fuze can play MPEG-4 video.
ok. (Sansa Media Converter) uses the term "convert" meaning to actually Transfer the file (video or audio, etc) ONTO sansa device. What I am trying to do is Convert or Change over a WVA video file onto a video file that Sansa Fuze supports. My library (http://www.suffolkwave.org/16B6FCC8-3B43-4E8B-BCFC-AE60354E6EBB/10/380/en/Default.htm) has tons of videos and audiobooks plus music for free. I have no problems with audio books transfering over to Sansa. I have tried to find AND have downloaded many programs such as: * http://www.downloadvideos-convert.com/ * http://files.uberdownloads.com/software/converters/convert.php?f=Audio%20Files&t=Other%20Formats * http://www.free-codecs.com/ * http://www.avs4you.com/downloads.aspx?prod=36 * http://mediaconverter.org/index.php?s=c&show=downloads plus MANY more... I have contacted so many different forums too. Nobody seems to help. Sansa Tech, forget about it........they are NO help at all!

Just Right Click, Open file location Then there should be the video file
If a copied video file does not play on a laptop the player on the laptop might be worn out. It could also be the format of the DVD that the file was copied to might not be correct. If the DVD is a data DVD than the video file will not play.
it is not possibly........
