There are several brands of ink on the market, and lots of different colors to choose from. I personally use Eternal and Intenze inks, and there are a huge assortment of reds in the sets, and if none are exactly right, then a good tattoo artist should be able to use color theory to figure out exactly what mixes should be used.

Who makes black widow tattoo ink?

not sure but judging by the disclaimer by sellers on Ebay I would not trust it. Stick to the known brands such as Mom's, Eternal (My personal favorite) and starbrite. Black Buda is another ok tattoo ink. These are the better inks that are not too bad on the wallet. Avoid inks called "professional tattoo ink" they contain the same chemical make up as listorin. Avoid all Asian inks except Koma Sumi sorry if I miss spelled that. Avoid all inks that do not yield a expiration date.

How can colors that are blended to make up inks be separated?

Colors blended in inks cannot be separated once mixed. The process of color separation involves digitally breaking down the colors into separate plates for printing. This separation allows each color to be printed individually to recreate the original blend.

Can you remove a tattoo?

a couple of days after the tattoo gets done just peel the ink off it wont fully be taken off tho. ^ DON'T DO THAT!!! you could cause a serious infection or rash. after it heals, you can get it a dermatologist to remove it with laser. or, get another tattoo over the one you have as a cover up. if you do get a cover up, make sure the tattoo artist is experienced because he or she should know what colours of inks work best on what you already have.

What color is closest to garnet?

Crimson is a dark red color. If you take two drops of red paint and one drop of purple paint and mix them together, you should have crimson. (You may need just a tad of black to make it a little darker.)

Can green tattoo ink go on top of yellow tattoo ink?

Yes, you can blend dark tattoo ink over light tattoo ink, but never the other way around. This is why when you do a color tattoo, a portrait for example, that will always start with your light pigments, work into your intermediate shades, then to your darkest shades, and you will then add highlighting to the piece where needed to make it pop.

What minerals make up the color deep red?

The deep red color in minerals is often due to the presence of iron oxide, such as hematite or garnet. Other minerals that can contribute to a deep red color include cinnabar (mercury sulfide) and rhodochrosite (manganese carbonate).
