Unless the woman's womb is expanding outwards, as it obviously does during pregnancy, it is very difficult for a man to notice that a woman is pregnant.

A couple who have been together for a long time might be able to spot minor behavioural changes that might seem unusual. For example, a pregnant woman would be craving weird food combinations (ie - chocolate bar and scrambled egg, strawberries and Pizza, etc).

Another behavioural example is mood swings - pregnant women have to deal with their bodies firing off random hormones at random times. One moment she might be emotional and easily upset, a split second later she might be angry about something trivial.

Morning sickness is a symptom of pregnancy and one that is noticeable. Being sick in the mornings isn't exactly something that can be hidden - it is loud, accompanied by choking noises and the obvious body language of feeling unwell.

Another behavioural sign men might notice in their partner is sexual drive. During the early stages of pregnancy, women have an increased sexual appetite as a result of their hormones going crazy. As the pregnancy progresses into months, her sexual drive will eventually fade away as her body decides to concentrate more on the development of the baby than sexual desires.

If the woman knows she is pregnant but hasn't told the father yet, signs such as rejecting alcoholic drinks, quitting smoking, refusing to join people for exercise and so on are other signs that might hint towards pregnancy.

The best way is to ask her (if she knows) or take a pregnancy test together if she doesn't.
