Women of any age should not get mixed up with married men as it usually is nothing but an affair and the mistress is kept in the shadows while he has his family. In other words, he keeps her in the background and out of sight which means he is spineless and if he loved her he should have the fortitude to ask his wife for a divorce. Although your heart is breaking deep down you know this man does not love you as he has told you or he would divorce his wife and he is simply making up excuses. Of course it's depressing, but you chose this road to go down even though you knew the risks. Telling his wife (going over his head) would be the worst thing you could do and he would detest you for that action. You are being selfish by doing so especially if he has children. This married man is a user and you allowed him to use you so take the consequences and learn from this lesson and stick to single men. It will be difficult to move on and get back out into the dating circuit, but once you are able too you will feel free and there is a special man out there for you that will love you enough to marry you. If you don't have any respect for yourself then how do you expect respect back.
