Macro and micro irrigation entails the use of mini sprinklers couple to a PVC hose. I prefer the upward type as they do tend to cover a wider area. The spray nozzles are color-coded and the area covered are printed on the package. They come in sets of 5, and are inexpensive. I'd consider the biggest investment in installing macro irrigation being the labor involved.
