They can't unless maybe if you have a risky pregnancy but in that case the doctor will tell you. Then you're not usually allowed ot have sex either. I suggest you call your doctor and ask for a name of a laxative you can use since many needs it during pregnancy and often more then once. Not all of them can be used often since it can make the body used to it.
