Many many women have miscarriages around this time (me included). Recent studies show that nearly 50% of all pregnancies finish within the first three weeks of its life. Many women don't even realise they are pregnant. You fall pregnant (and thus a pregnancy test shows positive) but within days of implantation the body can recognise a baby that is "genetically imperfect" and automatically aborts it. It just means that there was something wrong with the baby that nature didn't want. For a woman who has had more than three of these "miscarriages", you need to consult a doctor. It could mean that your body is not producing the required levels of hormones to support an early pregnancy. This can be helped with drugs.
