Not an expert in this area but I just bought a 1974 ( year 2 production of the Citori) o/u with fixed 26" barrels, IC and Mod chokes rated at 95% for 750.00 Hope I didn't pay too much but these were very well made guns as you know. I think I saw an early ad posted on the net that they retailed for 330.00 when made-
500 USD
Find the serial number to determine the year of mfg. Does it have the case and paperwork? Does it have screw in chokes? Look at some of the gun auction sites to get a better idea.
The Browning. No Contest there.
The value of any fine made firearm is based on condition, condition, condition. If your early made Browning auto-5 shotgun is showing 60%or better in original finish on the wood and metal. The value will be between 450-600 dollars.Values will drop as the condition of your shotgun goes down accordingly.

It all depends on what "better" means to you.
yes, and upgraded mg42 is better than an upgraded browning because the browning still takes longer to reload and mg42 takes about 3 seconds. Browning takes about 7-8 seconds.
The earlier the better. 1 is in the Browning Museum.
In general terms, condition is the key word. In 90-95% condition, you could expect $450 to $700. Near new at 98% or better could bring $1200+. This would be for a standard weight model. Light 12 guns do a little better, but add 15-20% for sweet sixteens.
Define "better". Both companies make excellent guns.
Depends on condition and what grade. Could be a few hundred or multiple thousands. No way to tell without a better description.
Depending on condition, antwhere from $150-$350. A real minty gun at 98% or better would add a few hundred.
