Re. VALUE of a Mitchell Arms (made by Aldo Uberti in Italy) Single Action .44 Magnum revolver, first: 1. How old is it and what condition is it in? 2. How much has it been fired? 3. Condition of the BORE? Has it been kept clean? No rust or pitting? 4. How much original finish is still on the gun? Nickel finish or blue? A new Uberti SA with BLUED finish can be had for about $400.+ If used, the value drops quite a bit. A NICKEL plated version costs at least $100. more than a BLUED gun. I think .45LC is more in demand than .44 Mag., too. I have a PAIR of Mitchell/Uberti's, cal. .45 LC. I bought them new in 1983 and they are still UNFIRED. The actions have been tuned to reduce parts wear and they are still new guns, but 25 years old. The serial numbers are not consecutive (this would make them worth even more), but as-is, they are worthbetween$900. and $1000. for the pair today. Hope this helps you. Any questions, email me.

Happy Trails,
