Looking on gunbroker.com, it looks like there are some listed at prices up to $1250.00. That, of course, doesn't mean that people are actually getting that top price, but it is one of the listings. Others are listed $545-$895, which seems more like the average range.
From what I understand, its a big 10 gauge shotgun, more specifically a shortened police variant of the Ithaca Mag-10.
Your ithaca mag-10 semi auto shotgun was made from 1975-1986.These shotguns with the vent-rib and checkered stocks will bring between 750-850 dollars for a unfired new in the box grade shtogun that you have.
You can get an owner's manual for the Ithaca Mag 10 from the Ithaca manufacturing company. Call the customer service line and they will mail one out to you.
