I do not have a lot of references for the very early Mossberg .22 rifles, but I THINK the Model 125 was made in the late 1930s- around 1938. You might check with Vic and Cheryl Havlin at havlinsales.com- they run the Mossberg Collectors Association- and they are very nice people.
