By M# 94-30 is assume you mean a model # 94 30-30 Win. cal. I am also assuming that this is a carbine ( 20" barrel length) and not a rifle. The value of used firearms are generally related to the percentage of original finish left on the firearm. This can range from "new in box" (which means just that, as it came fron the dealer) down to junk. Yes "new in box" firearms of that age still exist, some of them with the hang tag still attached. Firearms have pricing guides just like auto's. They can be found in major book stores. The pricing guide I am looking at lists a 100% gun at $500 down to $165 for for a 10% gun. These are retail prices in a gun shop not what they would give you. My belief is that these prices are a little low. With the demise of Winchester Firearms this very popular firearm is no longer being made and I suspect collector interest will force prices up, especially on older high condition firearms. By the way, if by chance this is a rifle ( 24' or 26" barrel) these values can skyrocket.
