Impossible to answer without the serial number.
It really depends on the condition of the rifle. The 4590 is probably the most desired model and can be worth more than 10,000 dollars in good condition. Even one that is not in that great of shape can fetch up to 3,000 to 4,500 dollars (US). It is good this rifle is pre 1900, as only adds to the value....
Itself because 1 times 4590 = 4590
If it's even in fair condition, so long as its complete and original, it's worth a LOT of money. ($2000 is a lot of money to me anyway) The gun was made in 1887, which makes it very collectable. and being chambered in 45/90 makes it even more so. Try and find all the history you can about where it came from, previous owners etc., collectors LOVE that stuff. Do not clean it or polish it or try and fix anything on it, you will only detract from the value. If it's in good condition, you can double that figure. If you can prove that it belonged to somebody famous, quadruple it. Can you post a picture? I'd love to see it.
The product of its prime factors in exponents: 2*33*5*17 = 4590
