∙ 14y agowith these fine made Belgium shotguns,condition is everything in the value of your Browning Sweet Sixteen shotgun which was made in Belgium in the year 1957.They can be worth between 300-1,200 dollars if the original condition is quite prevalent and the bore is in excellent condition.

If it is all matching, all original, and in excellent condition, value would be at least $900. Matted-rib guns will bring another $300 or so. This is original, excellent condition. Guns with finish wear or damage to the stocks drop off fast. sales@countrygunsmith.net

The barrel will be stamped "made in belgium" or "made in japan".
That is not a Sweet Sixteen serial number.
The Browning Sweet 16 is a 16 gauge shotgun manufactured in Belgium. It uses a true 16 gauge barrel and as such is a wonderful shotgun. To a hunter this is a sweet weapon.
