Generally the same as an American diet. Overly processed foods, high in fat, simple carbohydrates, sugar and sodium. Unique Canadian foods include poutin (french fries with cheese curds and gravy), Nanimo Bars (an indescribably delicious desert square), Butter Tarts (similar to a tiny Pecan Pie with raisins instead of pecans) and Tim Horton's coffee. Very few Canadians have ever tasted whale blubber, beaver tails or moose. Most have had a Timmy's double-double though.
