Both the Remington 513T (Target) and the 513S (Sporter) used a 1:16 twist rate. Reason being, the 40 grain .22 LR lead bullet was most common when these first came out. To measure the actual twist rate in your rifle you would need a cleaning rod with a rotating handle using a tight fitting cleaning patch on a jag tip. Place a strip of masking tape along the cleaning rod parallel with it's length. Insert the cleaning rod into the muzzle end of the barrel an inch or so and then pencil a mark on the masking tape perpendicular to the cleaning rod on one edge of the masking tape. Push the cleaning rod into the barrel and if you have a relatively tight fit the rod should rotate. When you see that the edge where you marked your first witness mark rotates to the point where you initially marked it, pencil another mark onto the masking tape. Remove the cleaning rod and measure the distance from mark to mark and you have the rate of turn for the lands and grooves. If you'd rather not go through that routine, just buy a box of 50 sub-sonic rounds and shoot for group and see how they do in your rifle. Good Luck!
Yes, I am using a 308 and a 243 clip in my 1954 760 in 35 Remington.
You are using a wheel and axle simple machine when you twist a doorknob. The wheel (the doorknob) rotates on the axle (the spindle), allowing you to easily open or close the door.
To create a unique design using the twist in wood, start by selecting a piece of wood with an interesting twist or grain pattern. Next, sketch out your design idea, taking into account the natural twist in the wood. Use tools like chisels, saws, and sanders to shape the wood and enhance the twist. Finally, finish the piece with a protective coating to highlight the natural beauty of the wood.
Soda bottles began using twist off caps in the 1960s, gradually replacing the older style pry-off caps. The twist off caps provided a more convenient and user-friendly way to open and reseal the bottles.
You jump into a backflip, than twist either right or left (depends on your preference) using the power of your shoulders and hips, in a 360/full rotation.
Sometimes, not all lists exist especially on newer stuff without calling Remington. Remington started date coding in 1921 so most people just lookup the date code unless it's real old. The chart and date codes are on the Remington Society of America.
Remington firearms are dated using a 2 or 3 LETTER code, stamped on the left rear of the barrel. Cannot date by serial number- sorry.
wet your hair then try using a conditioner on your kinky twist then use a comb to unravel them.I try'ed it and it worked out GREAT!(:
Remington firearms are dated by using a 2 or 3 LETTER code stamped on the barrels, not by a serial number. This is a link to the Remington Collector's website showing the letters and their location on the barrel. Good luck! https://www.remingtonsociety.org/manufacture-dates/
I would recommend freezing a chapstik and using the cap to twist it off. Worked for me
