The front sight is called "the front sight."
1. Remove the screw to the rear of the front sight ramp.2. Remove the "blade" from the front sight ramp.3. Remove the screw from the front of the front sight ramp (which was formerly seated under the "blade").
line up the target on the top of the front sight while sighting the front sight through the rear peep sight.
I have an original 16 ga. nitro special made by Lefever. The sight bead is one eighth if an inch in diameter.

Very good question, but unfortunately the parts listings only show the part number and not the specs. You will need your guns serial number and call the Browning Service center to get the info you need. Here is a link to Browning parts: Early Citori's had a part number of: PO34332 for the front bead sight and post.
