To Refund the stam paper, which is misprinted please follow the below process. This is in the context of Tamil Nadu. 1. Get a certificate from the Stamp Vendor, printed on the stamp paper : He would give a note vouching that you had purchased the stamp paper from him 2. Please take the certificate, original stamp paper and a covering letter signed by the person on whose name the paper was issued 3. Submit all the above to the Tasilthar Office 4. They would send this to the Registry Board and they in turn would call the stamp vendor and verify 5. It would take 15 - 45 days to get the money 6. Once the verification is done, you will be called to sign the bill at Thasilthat office 7. From that day it will take 3 days to get the fund
