In order to authorize a credit card, the following process must be followed. Step 1: When the buyer clicks the checkout button, the are sent to secure servers to complete the checkout request. The buyer places an order at the merchant's site by clicking the send order button on the review order page during checkout. Step 2: Yahoo sends the authorization request to FDMS, the payment processor. Step 3: FDMS sends the authorization request to the issuing bank. The authorization request includes: the credit card number, the expiration date, the billing address, the CVV number, the amount of order. these must be validated. Step 4: The issuing bank send the authorization response to FDMS. The person gets the card.
